Our Solution

22Moo International is proud to introduce the Digital Diner 9 (DD9) - the world's first third-party developed iPod and iPhone compatible internet kiosk solution. The Digital Diner 9 is basically a combination of a customized GUI and an extension to Apple's OS X operating system that allows Apple iTunes® and Safari™ to be used securely in a public environment.

The Digital Diner 9 comes as either a "Software-Only" solution or a "Desk/Benchtop, Free Standing or Wall Mounted" turn-key kiosk soluton.

The "Desk/Benchtop, Free Standing or Wall Mounted" kiosk soluton is driven by the latest available release of Apple OS X and powered by either the latest Intel based Apple Mac mini or iMac computers.

We believe this is one the most secure and advanced internet kiosk of its type.

Different Solutions for Different Needs

At 22Moo, we understand every customer has different needs and enviroments. And so four different solutions have been planned for development. They consist of :

• A "Software-Only" solution (Customer uses their own Apple Mac Intel based computer)
• A "Desk/Benchtop" kiosk (Dock, metal keyboard + trackball combo + iMac)
• A "Free Standing" kiosk (Dock, metal keyboard + trackable combo and touchscreen + Mac mini)
• A "Wall Mounted" kiosk (Dock and touchscreen + Mac mini)

The "Software-Only" solution requires an Apple Mac Intel based computer with OS X Leopard 10.5.6 or higher and a monitor that supports a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 800. Touch screen function is optional.

The "Desk/Benchtop, Free Standing or Wall Mounted" kiosk solutons will all feature geniune Apple iPod / iPhone docks, customerized vandal and water resistant metal keyboard + trackball combo sets and either a iMac or Mac mini computer all enclosed in a sleek, modern, clean metal enclosure.

Digital Diner 9's functionality

Below is a list of functions the kiosk solution provides :

• General web surfing
• Instant messaging (MSN, AIM, YAHOO, GTALK and MYSPACE)
• iTunes with FULL iTunes Music Store access (including Movies, iPod games, App Store and etc)
• Advertisement (via optional customized screen saver / banner)
• Voip - Skype

Currently we are completing development on a Skype add-on module for the Digital Diner 9 as well.

It's not just Music... it's Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, iPod Games, iTunes U & iPod Touch / iPhone Applications too

Most kiosks on the market today are designed primarily surfing the web and for downloading music.

The Digital Diner 9 internet kiosk solution supports ALL content that is available through iTunes in your country. This includes Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, iPod Games, iTunes U and the App Store

Basically if iTunes and your iPod or iPhone supports it - we will support it too.

Applications

The Digital Diner 9 solution was designed primarily for stores that resell Apple iPods or iPhones. It provides customers the convenience of being able to download or purchase content from the iTunes Music Store and sync to their newly purchased iPod or iPhone before leaving the store.

The Digital Diner 9 can also be used at:

• NEW album launch parties - so fans can download FREE tracks or purchase album from iTMS
• Hotels, gyms, clubs, resorts, restraunts etc
• Airports, Train Stations or Bus stops
• Shopping malls or placed next to iPod vendoring machines ( such as Macy's and Zoom's)

Massage, internet, movies and/or music ?

Simply integrate a Mac mini with Digital Diner 9 and a pair of Argo PC/3D video eyewear into a massage chair and you could have one of world's most unique relaxtion products to date.

Your customer could rent movies from the iTunes Music Store and watch them in total privacy on a virtual 48" screen, surf the internet, use instant messaging and much more... all while getting a massage !

Q: Which iPod or iPhone is the Digital Diner 9 solution compatible with ?
A: All that the current version of iTunes supports

Q: Will the kiosk use a license when purchasing from the iTunes Music Store ?
A: The kiosk will use 1 of 5 of the customers licenses when purchasing content from the iTMS

Q: Can my customer de-authorize the license used by the kiosk ?
A: As soon your customer uses their 5 licenses, they are giving the option to FREE up all licences

Q: If a customer's iPod is window formatted can it be used ?
A: Absolutely - it is compatible with both Window and Mac formatted iPods

Q: Can customers restore their iPod or iPhone using the kiosk ?
A: Sure - but it will be Mac formatted and not usable on a PC unless they run third-party software
